Aprilia Bikes EICMA 2024 Wrap Up
The Tuono 457, a more capable Tuareg 660 Rally, updated RS & Tuono 660 range and V4 range as well was showcased at the motorcycle show
Italian bike maker Aprilia also made a powerful appearance at the EICMA 2024, with the unveiling of a new Tuono 457 naked bike, 2025 Tuareg 660 Rally, an updated RS and Tuono 660 range along with an updated V4 range as well. A bunch of these updated bikes may also be launched in the Indian market in 2025. Here are the highlights:
Aprilia Tuono 457
Aprilia unveiled the made-in-India Tuono 457, which is a naked version of the RS 457. It is the second bike built on the Italian manufacturer’s 457cc engine platform. The Aprilia Tuono 457 comes with a streetfighter look, unlike other bikes in the Tuono range which have a semi-faired design. The bike looks muscular and has an aggressive design.
The bike gets the same 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine as the Aprilia RS 457 which makes 46.7PS at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm at 6,700rpm. It is paired with a six-speed transmission and slip-and-assist clutch. It may also get a bi-directional quick shifter as standard just like its faired sibling. However, it offers an entirely different riding experience as compared to the RS 457, as the Tuono 457 provides a relaxed and upright riding posture thanks to a wide handlebar, slightly rear-set footpegs and the long single piece. The bike might be launched in India sometime in 2025.
2025 Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally
Aprilia has also put the 2025 Tuareg 660 Rally on display at the motor show. It is the most capable version of the 660cc ADV, made to handle tough terrains with ease. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally is based on the same ADV on which Aprilia won its debut Africa Eco Race.
The ADV features a special Rally-replica colour scheme complemented by gold-anodised fork, wheel rims, and handlebars. It also gets a new SC project titanium exhaust. Additionally, the Tuareg 660 Rally now has KYB suspension setup with 240mm suspension travel.
2025 Aprilia RS 660 and RS 660 Factory
Aprilia also showcased the 2025 RS 660 and RS 660 Factory at the EICMA 2024. The bike now comes with aesthetic and mechanical updates. The winglets have been updated on both the middle-weight bikes to be more aerodynamic. It now gets two new colours as well: Venom Yellow and Blue Marlin colours.
The Aprilia RS 660 and RS 660 Factory also comes with an updated Euro 5+ compliant 659cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine which now makes 106PS and 67Nm, which is 6PS more than before. The bike now comes with a larger 5-inch TFT instrument console and a backlit switchgear from its bigger V4 sibling. It also gets launch control features. Moreover, the RS 660 Factory now gets Ohlins suspensions as standard.
2025 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory
The 2025 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory has also been updated with the same Euro 5+ compliant 659cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine producing 106PS and 67Nm. It also gets an additional launch control feature and the Ohlins suspension is now standard on the factory version. The bike also misses out on the belly pan.
2025 Aprilia RSV4 and RSV4 Factory
The 2025 Aprilia RSV4 now gets two new colours for the base model: blue with red accents and grey with yellow accents. On the other hand, the RSV4 Factory model comes in a single colour. It also gets new and larger winglets now.
The bike’s 1,099cc liquid-cooled, V4 engine now produces 220PS and 125Nm. Feature updates include a fuel gauge and backlit switches. Moreover, cruise control features, cornering lights, launch control, and race layout are now optional on the base model and standard on the RSV4 Factory version.
2025 Aprilia Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory
Aprilia has also updated the Tuono V4 and Tuono V4 Factory models. The new Aprilia Tuono V4 is now available in two new colours: yellow and grey. On the other hand, Tuono V4 Factory is available in a single colour. Both bikes now get winglets and skip out on the belly pan.
Both naked bikes trade in their 1,077cc liquid-cooled engine for a bigger 1,099cc one. The bigger engine has also contributed to an increase in 5PS power, it now makes 182PS and 121Nm (previously made 177PS). Featurewise, both bikes get backlit switches as standard now. Same as the Aprilia RS 660, the cruise control feature, cornering lights, launch control, and race layout are now optional on the base model and standard on the Factory variant.
