Quick Highlights:

Ather Rizta to receive its first price increase since launch

Expected to become more expensive by Rs 5,000

Price Hike to take place January 1, 2025 onwards

Ather launched the Rizta electric scooter in India a few months ago. It is a family electric scooter which focuses on practicality and comfort over sportiness such as the 450X. A few dealers we spoke to have confirmed that the Rizta is set to receive a price hike of around Rs 5,000 across all the variants from January 1 2025.

About Ather Rizta

The Ather Rizta is available in three variants:

S variant which gets a 2.7kWh battery pack which delivers a claimed range of 123km and is priced for Rs 1,09,000

Z 2.9kWh, as the name suggests, gets a 2.9kWh battery pack which provides a claimed range of 123km and is priced for Rs 1,29,499

Z 3.7kWh, gets a 3.7kWh battery pack which has a claimed range of 159km and is priced for Rs 1,46,499

Claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range, all prices ex-showroom, Bengaluru

One also has the option to choose the pro pack which you will need to pay extra for according to each variant.

Underpinnings

The Ather Rizta shares many of its components with its sibling, the 450X such as the main frame, motor, battery pack, features and also the regen which we have seen on the 450 Apex.

BikeDekho Says

The price hike on the Ather Rizta will result in an increased gap with its competitors such as the Bajaj Chetak, Vida V2 and the Ola S1 Pro. If you were on the hunt to buy an electric scooter and particularly the Rizta, now might be the best time to get your hands on one before the price hike becomes official.
