Auto Expo 2023: 4-Speed Electric Naked And ADV Concepts Showcased
The Matter EXE and UT concepts feature liquid-cooling and a manual gearbox
Gujarat-based Matter has showcased its concepts at the Auto Expo 2023. The Concept EXE and Concept UT are an urban streetfighter and an urban tourer, respectively. While the company has not revealed any details, there are some interesting elements on both the bikes.
Much like the Matter electric motorcycle unveiled last year, both the concepts have the manual four-speed gearbox. The concepts also feature the same liquid-cooled motor; however, the battery packs are not liquid cooled.
The styling of the bikes is also different from the production bike that is slated to launch later this month. The Concept EXE features minimal body panels, like we expect from streetfighters, with sharp tank extensions that also house the indicators. Its mono-projector LED headlight is also unique with ‘X’-shaped LED DRL.

It gets a square LED DRL surround that houses a single-projector headlight. Like an ADV, the console is raised and sits on a taller handlebar.
Both the concepts feature telescopic forks, and while the EXE gets a monoshock, the UT comes with gas-charged dual shocks. Braking on both the concepts is taken care of by disc brakes at both ends.
While the company has not revealed details, the concepts’ TFT consoles have navigation and connectivity features.
The Matter Concept EXE and the Concept UT are unlikely to go into production anytime soon. That said, the company has trademarked a bunch of names, which could be used for these products.
