Bajaj Files For ‘Dynamo’ Trademark In India
Will it be an electric bike, or something else?
Bajaj Auto has filed for the trademark of yet another nameplate, the ‘Dynamo’. The company filed the patent earlier this month and the application’s status is ‘Formalities Check Pass’, which means that the application is filed correctly and the Indian Trademark Registry has authenticated it.
We suspect it could be one of two possibilities. Firstly, with the name Dynamo, Bajaj could be aiming towards an Electric Auto Rickshaw instead of an electric two-wheeler. We could see an electric version of the RE Auto for example, which currently comes in a petrol, diesel and CNG-powered avatar. If not that, we suspect that a commercial goods vehicle could be in the making from Bajaj, an electric version of the Bajaj Maxima C perhaps.

This comes in addition to some of their earlier ones which are yet to see the light of day, like the Blade, Twinner, Elan and Pulsar Eleganz. That said, through these trademarks, Bajaj could also be aiming to just secure the names.
