The Bajaj Freedom 125 is an interesting proposition in the market today, being the world’s first and currently the only CNG bike available. Here are all the bikes and scooters you can get at the same price range as the Bajaj Freedom 125 NG04 Drum variant which comes at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Hero Glamour Xtec Disc Variant (Price: Rs 92,598)
If a simple commuter bike is all that you are looking for then the Hero Glamour Xtec is a good choice. It comes with a simple commuter design and good looking graphics, and is powered by a 124.7cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which outputs 10.7PS and 10.6Nm.
The bike also offers a decent set of features, with its clean and easy to read digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts.
TVS Raider 125 SX Variant (Price: Rs 1,03,570)
When looking at premium commuters, the TVS Raider 125 is the perfect choice. It comes with a very stylish design, with the bumblebee headlights, tank extensions and metallic badging.
The bike is powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 11.38PS and 11.2Nm. It gets a 5-inch TFT display which offers features such as smartphone connectivity, voice assist, call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation, making it the most feature-packed 125cc bike in India.

If you are looking for something that is a bit sporty and promises exciting performance then the Hero Xtreme 125R would be a good choice. The bike looks pretty sporty and gets quite a bit of interesting bits on the underpinnings section, which makes it stand out.
The bike is powered by a 124.7cc air-cooled engine that produces 11.4PS and 11Nm. In terms of underpinnings it has a 37mm telescopic fork, which is the thickest in the air-cooled 125cc segment. It also gets a 276mm front disc with single channel ABS making it the first bike in the segment to get it. If you are a rider who is a bit more cautious when it comes to safety then the Xtreme 125R is definitely worth considering.
Suzuki Burgman Street 125 Ride Connect Edition (Price: 98,301)

The Ola S1 X 4kWh variant is a good electric alternative to the Bajaj Freedom 125. It is powered by a 6kW motor mated to a 4kWh battery pack. The scooter offers a claimed range of 193km and has a claimed top speed of 90kmph.
The Ola S1 X is a bit plain on features when compared to other models in the Ola lineup like the S1 X+, S1 Air and S1 Pro. But it still has a few features to offer such as over the air (OTA) updates, cruise control, vacation mode and also advanced regen. Being a scooter, the Ola S1 X also offers more versatility and brings an additional 34L storage space as well.
For a price of Rs 99,999 ex-showroom including electric mobility promotion scheme subsidy or EMPS, the Ola S1 X is a good proposition and one worth considering if you want to go the electric route.
