Bajaj Pulsar 150NS might be launched after 200SS, gets 4-Valve and Triple-Spark
We already reported that Bajaj is going to launch the Pulsar 200SS in India in the first quarter of 2015. Now, it seems that Pulsar 150NS will follow the flagship machine in the market and will be launched just after the 200SS. The bike has been already unveiled in Turkey and it looks almost identical to the Pulsar 200NS, which is already available in the market.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 150NS will be powered by a new 150cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine having 4-valve and triple-spark technologies. These advancements will help it to deliver better performance with optimum fuel efficiency. Looking at the specifications of the current Pulsar 150 DTS-i, the upcoming model is expected to deliver a maximum power around 15.5bhp.
Apart from the bodywork, it also shares wheel design, clip-on handlebars, split-seat, console, under-belly exhaust and suspension set-up with the 200NS. However, there are many differences like the braking system, which gets a smaller front petal disc and rear drum type arrangement.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150NS is expected to be priced between Rs. 72,000 - 75,000 and will place a tough competition for Yamaha FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer.
