Bajaj Pulsar 180F Gets Dearer Once More
The bike had received a price revision in May
Just like we’ve seen in the past, Bajaj Auto has been known to periodically increase the price of its models by a small margin. The last price revision that most of its Pulsar models received was in May and now, almost a month and a half later, Bajaj has increased the asking price of the Pulsar 180F again. Here’s the new ex-showroom Delhi price:
Motorcycle |
New Price |
Old Price |
Difference |
Bajaj Pulsar 180F |
Rs 1,11,328 |
Rs 1,10,330 |
Rs 998 |
Yeah, Bajaj is asking just around thousand rupees more for the faired Pulsar. But as a whole, the 180F is now Rs 14,938 dearer than its BS4 version that was on sale earlier this year. Aside from the mandatory emission updates, the Pulsar 180F didn’t get any new additional features to sweeten the deal.
The Pulsar 180F looks identical to its elder sibling, the Pulsar 220F. It gets the same 178.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled DTS-i motor that puts out 17.02PS and 14.22Nm, which is 0.3Nm more than the BS4 carb engine. The Pulsar 180F does get a larger 280mm front disc (the BS4 bike ran with a 260mm rotor) but the rear 230mm disc remains the same.
There might be a slight delay in the delivery of Bajaj bikes as the rise in COVID-19 cases in Pune has forced the city to once again be put under strict lockdown conditions. While Bajaj touchpoints might be able to undertake telephonic bookings for bikes, owners would have to wait to get delivery of their new possessions, especially in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, or other cities where lockdown is once again being imposed.
