Bajaj Pulsar F250 & N250: Photo Gallery

Modified On Oct 28, 2021 05:19 PM By Pratik Bhanushali for Bajaj Pulsar F250

These are the largest Pulsars to go on sale

Earlier today, Bajaj took the wraps off the new Pulsar F250 and the N250. Both bikes feature a fresh design and fairly modern tech while being priced aggressively. Let’s take a closer look at the duo.

The Pulsar F250 gets a half-fairing that houses the LED projector headlight with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. That is complemented by a smoked visor. Meanwhile, the naked Pulsar N250 has the same headlight setup as before, but the fascia is reminiscent of the Yamaha MT-15.

In typical Bajaj fashion, the 250 twins’ design is a mix of sportiness and practicality. The same is evident in the ergonomics as well. The handlebar seems pretty wide and upright, and the footpegs too are slightly rear-set.

Both are powered by a 249.07cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder motor that puts out 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. Getting things in motion is a 5-speed gearbox, and you also get a slipper clutch to tame the aggressive downshifts.

Now, to the features. Both get LED illumination, a charging port, and an analogue/digital console. The analogue dial is for the tachometer, while the digital screen houses the speedometer, fuel level reading, gear position indicator, and trip meter.

The underpinnings are fairly conventional too. Both bikes use a split-tubular chassis suspended on a telescopic fork and monoshock.

Anchoring the Bajaj Pulsar F250 and N250 are 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes with single-channel ABS.

Both bikes roll on 17-inch front and rear wheels wrapped in 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres. The N250 tips the scales at 162kg, and the F250 at 164kg (the extra two kilos because of the fairing). The Pulsar 250s get a 14-litre fuel tank. How frugal are the bikes? Well, we’ll get to know that only when we test the duo.

Bajaj has priced the F250 at Rs 1.40 lakh and the N250 at Rs 1.38 lakh (both ex-showroom Delhi). That’s a mouth-watering price tag considering what’s on offer.
