Bajaj Pulsar N150 vs Pulsar P150: Differences Explained

Modified On Oct 8, 2023 08:45 AM By Nishaad for Bajaj Pulsar N150

We discern if the N150 is anything more than just the P150 in the N160’s clothes

Bajaj recently launched the Pulsar N150, and on the outside, it looks like it’s simply the Pulsar P150 in the Pulsar N160’s design language. So here’s a quick rundown on everything that’s different between the Pulsar N150 and the Pulsar P150.

The biggest difference is obviously their designs. While the P150 does look like a nice, sporty commuter, there’s no doubt that the N150 looks better. The N160-inspired styling looks more muscular and the beefy tank extensions make it look quite butch, a lot more than the P150.

Brakes are another department where the two bikes differ. The N150 gets a 260mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum unit at the rear. On the P150, though, you also get an optional 230mm disc at the rear. Interestingly, while the 17-inch wheels on both bikes are the same, the N150 gets chunkier tyres. Here’re the tyres each bike gets:

Pulsar N150 Double Disc

Front Tyre

Rear Tyres

110/80 - 17

The final set of changes on both bikes includes a 145kg kerb weight for the N150–5kg more than the P150. The N150 also gets a single-seat setup, while the P150’s twin disc trim gets a sportier split-seat setup. And finally, the N150’s single tubular handlebar unit is more commuter-ish than the P150’s clip-ons (on the twin disc trim).
