Benelli 302R, TNT 600 Set To Launch Soon

Published On Mar 16, 2021 03:07 PM By Pratik Bhanushali for Benelli 302R

Benelli India currently has three BS6-compliant bikes in its lineup

For 2021, Benelli has already launched three BS6-compliant bikes: TRK 502, Leoncino 500, and the Imperiale 400. Now, the brand is all set to bring back the faired 302R and the naked TNT 600.

From the above picture, it’s evident the TNT 600 will come with a few cosmetic tweaks, alongside the mechanical changes. The bike is also expected to shed some weight, which may improve its handling dynamics. The previous version of the Benelli TNT 600 made about 85PS and 54.6Nm from its inline-four liquid-cooled motor. We expect similar performance from its BS6 motor as well.

On the design front, the 2021 Benelli TNT 600 seems to feature a new all-LED headlight, altered side panels, and a revised swingarm. It could get a new TFT dash as well. Benelli’s parent company, Qianjiang, uses Marzocchi forks and Brembo callipers on its SRK600 naked motorcycle. So, the new TNT 600 may borrow the same underpinnings.

As for the new Benelli 302R, it too gets cosmetic as well as slight mechanical upgrades. The bulky fairing seems to have made way for a slightly more shredded bodywork. The redesigned headlight is expected to house LED lights with DRLs. Last but not least, the seat looks much more sporty and purposeful.

The BS4 version of the 302R was powered by a parallel-twin 300cc motor with output figures of 38.79PS and 26.5Nm. The BS6 model may offer similar power figures.

As of now, there’s no word from Benelli on the launch date or the pricing. However, we reckon the 2021 Benelli 302R could be introduced first and launched in the second half of 2021. As for the TNT 600, it might debut in India by late-2021 or early-next year.
