Bikes And Scooters Launched In India In June 2024

From scooters like the Yamaha Fascino S and Hero Xoom Combat Edition to the updated Bajaj Pulsar range, premium bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR, BMW R 1300 GS and more!

The month of June was packed with thrilling launches in the two-wheeler industry. We saw the arrival of many new bikes, scooters, and variants of existing models. From scooters like the Yamaha Fascino S, and Hero Xoom Combat Edition to the updated Bajaj Pulsar range, along with premium bikes such as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR, BMW R 1300 GS and more! There was something for everyone.

1. 2024 Bajaj Pulsar Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 220F & Pulsar N160 Launch

In the last few months, Bajaj has updated the Pulsar N and NS series extensively. Now, the manufacturer has launched the 2024 Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F with new features and graphics, along with a new variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160.

The Bajaj Pulsar 125, Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F have been updated with new full LCD instrument clusters with Bluetooth connectivity and a USB charging port, the new console replaces the iconic semi-digital ones on all three bikes. Moreover, each bike now also gets new graphics. 

The new variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 has been launched with a 33mm inverted fork, turn-by-turn navigation and three riding modes: Road, Rain and Off-Road. 

2. Jawa 350 Launch

The Jawa 350 has been launched with new colour options, along with a new alloy wheels variant. The new prices start at Rs 1,98,950 (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike gets four new colours including Obsidian Black, Grey, Deep Forest and Chrome White colour, these colours are available along with the existing colour schemes.


Rest of the features and hardware of the bike are unchanged, it continues to be equipped with a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 22.5PS and 28.2Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. It can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 10.98 seconds. The Jawa 350 delivers a real-world tested mileage of 32.03kmpl in the city and 28.32kmpl on the highway.

3. Bajaj Chetak 2901 Launch

Bajaj has also launched the most affordable variant of the Chetak electric scooter in India, called the Chetak 2901. The e-scooter gets a mid-mounted motor paired with a 2.88kWh battery pack. It has a top speed of 63kmph and delivers a claimed range of 123km. Moreover, it takes 6 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent.


It gets the same colour-LCD instrument cluster as the older Chetak and gets TecPac as optional. The Chetak 2901 is available in a single variant and gets five colour options including Azure Blue, Ebony Black Met, Racing Red, Lime Yellow and Cyber White. 

4. Yamaha Fascino S Launch 

Yamaha launched the new Fascino S scooter in India as the new range-topping variant of Fascino. The scooter now comes with an ‘Answer Back feature’ which helps you find your scooter in crowded parking lots or markets using the ‘Yamaha Scooter Answer Back’ app on your smartphone. Rest of the features remain the same as the Yamaha Fascino disc variant.


The new Fascino S is available in three colour options, including Matte Red-SPL, Matte Black-SPL and Dark Matte Blue-SPL. 

5. Hero Xoom 110 Combat Edition Launch

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Xoom 110 Combat Edition in India. It comes with a new Matt Shadow Grey colour scheme with neon yellow and dark grey stickers. Positioned above the Xoom 110 ZX variant, the Combat edition takes its place as the new top-of-the-line variant of the Hero scooter.


Apart from the aesthetic updates, everything else including the features, hardware, and engine remains the same. The Xoom 110 Combat Edition is powered by the same 110.9cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.05PS and 8.70Nm.

6. BGauss RUV 350 Electric Scooter Launch

BGauss, a Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the RUV 350 as the brand's new flagship electric scooter that replaces the D15 e-scooter. The RUV 350 is available in three variants including the RUV 350i, RUV 350 EX and the top RUV 350 Max. The base and mid variants get a claimed range of 90km, whereas the top variant has a claimed range of 120km.


The BGauss RUV 350 electric scooter features metal bodywork. It is driven by an IP67-certified, hub-mounted motor that produces a peak output of 3.5kW and 165Nm. The RUV 350 comes with three riding modes: Eco, Ride and Sport. The scooter takes 5.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40kmph. It also has a claimed top speed of 75kmph in Sport mode.

7. Zelio X Men Electric Scooter Launch

Haryana-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Zelio EBikes launched the X Men low-speed electric scooter in the country. Available in five variants with different battery packs including 1.92kWh, 2.3kWh, 2.736kWh, 2.28kWh (all lead acid) and the range-topping 1.92kWh (lithium-ion), it comes in four colour options: Black, White, Sea Green and Red.


The 1.92kWh (lead acid) variant has a claimed range of 55-60km, the 2.3kWh (lead acid) variant offers 70km range, and the top-end 1.9kWh lithium-ion battery variant provides a range of 80km. It is a low-speed scooter and the top speed is limited to 25kmph.

8. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR & Ninja 300 Launch

Earlier this month, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR was launched with slightly more power and a few extra features. It costs Rs 60,000 more than the standard ZX-4R and is available in a single Kawasaki Lime Green colour option.


It gets the same 399cc liquid-cooled in-line four engine as the Ninja ZX-4R but produces 77PS at 14,500rpm and 39Nm at 13,000rpm (2PS and 1.4Nm more than the ZX-4R). The maximum power output goes up to 80PS with the Ram air intake. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, with assist-and-slipper clutch and bi-directional quickshifter as standard. 

Kawasaki Ninja 300 was relaunched with updated graphics, after being discontinued for a few months. However, apart from the looks, its engine, features and underpinnings remain the same as before.

9. BMW R 1300 GS Launch

The 2025 BMW R 1300 GS was also launched in India this month. The ADV now features a sleek and even more aggressive design as compared to its predecessor. BMW has replaced the signature asymmetrical headlight with a new X-shaped LED matrix headlight.


The BMW R 1300 GS gets a new 1300cc, liquid-cooled, flat-twin engine which produces 145PS and 149Nm, which is 9PS and 6Nm more than the R 1250 GS. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The ADV has a claimed top speed of more than 200kmph. Moreover, it gets a new range of features and the underpinnings of the bike have also been updated.
