Bikes And Scooters Launched In India In March 2024
From new colours to new superbikes, this month wasn’t disappointing
While March 2024 didn’t exactly bring what we thought it would, the month was still quite interesting and we got quite a lot of rather exciting two-wheelers. Here’s a brief overview of what we saw this month:
KTM RC And Adventure Lineup
The KTM RC and Adventure lineup got some interesting updates in the form of new colours. In the RC lineup, KTM gave the RC 200, RC 390 and RC 125 the same colours that were earlier unveiled internationally.
The Adventure lineup has received a similar treatment with the KTM 390 Adventure and KTM 250 Adventure coming in fresh shades. All these KTM bikes look really good and this update has brought a breath of fresh air to them.
Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports
The Hero Pleasure Plus is a 110cc scooter from Hero MotorCorp and one of the most affordable offerings from the brand. Hero has updated the scooter by launching a new variant called the Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports and it comes with stylish graphics and a few other important bits. Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE
The Suzuki VStrom 800 DE, the new flagship ADV from Suzuki India was also launched in India in March. It is powered by a 776cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine which produces 84.3PS and 78Nm.
The V-Strom 800 DE goes up against the Honda XL750 Transalp, Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW F 850 GS. And the good thing is that Suzuki launched the bike at a price of Rs 10,30,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), which is significantly lower than all of its rivals.
Triumph Rocket 3 Storm
Triumph launched the 2024 version of the Rocket 3 and the updated bike is now called the Triumph Rocket 3 Storm. The update has brought some improvements in terms of performance and now the power cruiser makes 15PS and 4Nm more than before, bringing the output figures to 182PS and 225Nm.
The improvements in terms of performance have obviously come at a premium of Rs 2,09,000. The Rocket 3 Storm R now comes at a price of Rs 21,99,000 ex-showroom, whereas the Rocket 3 Strom GT which is the touring focused variant now comes at a price of Rs 22,59,000 ex-showroom.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 S
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is the brand’s mad streetfighter and last month, the Streetfighter V4 S was launched in India. It now comes with revised electronics and a slightly raised swingarm pivot for better stability when exiting the corners. It now comes at a price of Rs 28,00,000 (ex-showroom) and competes with the Kawasaki Z H2 and the Triumph Speed Triple 1200.
