With new two-wheelers, and launches of updated versions of existing ones, May has been pretty hot-and-happening in the two-wheeler world. If you missed any of the action, here are all the scooters and bikes that were launched in May 2024:
New Bajaj bike launches
Bajaj has launched the biggest Pulsar yet, the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, based on the Bajaj Dominar 400 platform. Launched at a competitive price, it is the most affordable bike in its segment.
This month Bajaj has also launched the updated Bajaj Pulsar F250, with quite a few updates but misses out on one major component.
The updated 2024 Bajaj Pulsar 125 was also launched. It comes with new graphics and a new digital instrument console.
Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 launched
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the best-selling bike in India, Hero MotoCorp launched the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 at just Rs 3,000 over its predecessor. Here's what's new.
KTM 200 Duke new colours launched
KTM India has launched the KTM Duke 200 in 2 new attractive colours – Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano – alongside the existing Silver Metallic Matt colour scheme at no price hike.
TVS iQube Electric scooter new variants and new editions launched
TVS Motor Company has launched the cheapest electric scooter, the TVS iQube 2.2kWh, and a new, more premium TVS iQube ST 3.4kWh variant. Along with this, the deliveries of the entire iQube range including the new base and ST variants have commenced.
TVS also launched the new sleek-looking Black Edition in the drum brake variants of the TVS Apache RTR 160 and TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 DLX new colours launched
Yamaha has launched the Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 DLX in two new colours – Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green – and is now available in six colours with no price difference between them.
Jawa 42 Bobber new colour launched
Jawa has launched the Jawa 42 Bobber in a new dual-tone paint scheme called Red Sheen and priced the same as the Black Mirror variant. This bike retains the retro charm of the OG Jawa bikes.
New BMW bikes launched and R 1300 GS bookings open unofficially
BMW has launched the BMW S 1000 XR, a toned-down sport-touring avatar of the BMW S 1000 RR at Rs 22.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and the most powerful sports tourer in production, the BMW M 1000 XR at a heavy price tag of Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it India’s most expensive sports tourer.
Multiple BMW dealerships around India have unofficially started accepting bookings for around Rs 50,000 (refundable, may vary depending on the dealership), for the BMW R 1300 GS that will be launched in India soon.
Ducati Desert X Rally launched
Ducati has launched their offroad-focused Ducati Desert X Rally in India, priced at Rs 23,70,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Rally variant of the Desert Desert X is equipped with a bunch of off-road-friendly parts to tackle extreme off-road terrain.
2024 Harley Davidson bikes launched
