Modified On Dec 20, 2021 12:00 PM By Pratik Bhanushali for Royal Enfield Classic 350

The issue is specific to single-channel ABS models manufactured between September 1 to December 5

The issue has been found in the brake reaction bracket for the single-channel ABS (rear drum).  About 26,300 single-channel ABS unit models are to be recalled by Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield has issued a recall for the 2021 Classic 350 single-channel ABS models (rear drum brake) manufactured between September 1 to December 5. The recall has been issued over a faulty brake reaction bracket attached to the swingarm.

The company claims that exceptionally heavy braking at the rear can damage the bracket as well as reduce the braking efficiency and cause unusual noise. So, Royal Enfield will recall about 26,300 units and reinforce the reaction bracket for all.

Using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Royal Enfield service team/ local dealerships will follow up with all the owners whose bikes were manufactured in the aforementioned period. However, owners can also voluntarily reach out to the workshops, company website or call Royal Enfield on 1800 210 007 to confirm the same.

Considering the issue can lead to poor braking performance, we recommend buyers to contact Royal Enfield as soon as possible and get their bike fixed to avoid any kind of mishaps.
