BREAKING: 2023 OBD-2 Compliant Honda SP 125 Launched At Rs 85,131 Onwards
The updated bike gets a cleaner heart and a wider tyre for a tiny premium
Just days after launching the updated Activa 125 H-Smart, Honda has now launched the updated SP125, which costs Rs 85,131 (drum brake version). The disc brake variant, meanwhile, will set you back by Rs 89,131 (both ex-showroom Delhi). Both trims now cost a mere Rs 927 more than before. Here’s everything that’s new on the updated bike:
The biggest update for the SP is that the 123.94cc engine is now a BS6 Phase 2-compliant, carrying an OBD-2 sensor that monitors the bike’s emission levels in real time. The SP 125’s 80-section rear tyre now makes way for a 100-section one, which should make the ride a bit more stable. One last new bit on the bike is the new Matte Marvel Blue Metallic paint scheme.

The updates definitely make the SP 125 a bit more wholesome bike than before. The thicker rear tyre might not have a lot of actual benefits in the real world for a commuter, but it definitely increases the bike’s visual appeal. Especially if it’s coming for a hike of Rs 927, we’re not complaining!
