BREAKING: Benelli TRK 251 Launched At Rs 2.51 Lakh
This is the most affordable Benelli currently and it rivals the KTM 250 Adventure
After unveiling its smallest ADV earlier this month, the TRK 251, Benelli has now launched it in India at Rs 2.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it the most affordable offering from Benelli. Pre bookings had already begun for a token amount of Rs 6,000.
Taking inspiration from its bigger sibling, the TRK 502, the new 250cc ADV flaunts similar butch styling. It gets a sharp fascia housing the tad bit rounded twin LED projectors. It’s topped by a transparent windscreen and a sturdy-looking beak below it. Not to mention, you also get a tail rack at rear as standard. Benelli offers the TRK 251 in three colours: white/red, black/red and grey/red.

Benelli has equipped it with a fully digital LCD. However, it doesn’t have smartphone connectivity. The TRK 251 is suspended on a USD fork (135mm travel) and a monoshock setup (60mm travel). The braking hardware consists of a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear unit. Dual-channel ABS is standard. It rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped in road-biased tyres making it a more road-biased ADV.
Aiding its touring capability is the massive 18-litre fuel tank. The TRK 251 tips the scale at 164kg (unladen) and has a ground clearance of 170mm. It gets a seat height of 800mm which should be convenient enough.
In the 250cc ADV market, the Benelli TRK 251’s chief rival is the KTM 250 Adventure and you also have the option of the Royal Enfield Himalayan which offers a good balance between off-roading and highway touring. Not to mention, you also have the Hero XPulse 200 4V as an option. It’s not only way more affordable but also packs better off-roading credentials.
