BREAKING: Updated TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched, Gets New LED Headlight

The updated iteration’s LED headlight design is now similar to the 2022 Apache RTR 160 4V with riding modes

Apart from the refreshed headlight, the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged  in terms of mechanicals and features. Costs Rs 775 more than its predecessor. Is available in both single-channel and dual-channel guises.

After launching the 2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V single-channel ABS variant in March, the Hosur-based bikemaker has continued the onslaught with the introduction of the 2022 model now. However, this time around, it’s a minor update given in the form of a new LED headlight (similar to the one in the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V with riding modes). 

The new headlight with DRL is capable of switching on both low and high beams simultaneously. The updated iteration retails at Rs 1,33,840 for the single-channel ABS variant and Rs 1,38,890 (both ex-showroom Delhi) for the version with dual-channel ABS. Both variants are Rs 775 more than before. It is offered in Gloss Black, Pearl White, and Matte Blue colours. 

Apart from the new headlight setup, the rest of the motorcycle remains the same, both in terms of mechanicals and features. It makes the same 20.82PS at 9000rpm and 17.25Nm at 7250rpm under Sport mode, and 17.32PS at 7800rpm and 16.51Nm at 5750rpm under Rain and Urban modes.

The Apache RTR 200 4V received segment first riding modes, adjustable front suspension, and adjustable levers in November 2020. Apart from these, the bike also gets a proper LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Notable alternatives include the Yamaha FZ25, Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Honda Hornet 2.0 and the Bajaj Pulsar N250.
