BREAKING: Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition Launched In India
The new variant is Rs 3,000 dearer than the standard model
The MotoGP Edition comes in an all-black colour scheme with Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP livery and a gold Yamaha logo on the fuel tank. Mechanicals are the same as the standard model. Bookings are open for Rs 2,000 on Yamaha’s official website.After launching the Yamaha FZ25 MotoGP Edition in July, the Japanese manufacturer has now given the same treatment to its popular naked, the MT-15. The newly launched Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition (officially called MT-15 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition) is priced at Rs 1,47,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is Rs 3,000 more than the standard variant.
It features an all-black colour scheme with the Monster energy logo on the fuel tank and on the tank shrouds. There are Yamalube stickers on the radiator shrouds, a gold-finished tuning fork on the fuel tank, and Eneos stickers with Yamaha’s catchphrase ‘Revs Your Heart’ on the tail panels. The wheels have been given an all-black treatment and there are no rim stickers either.

Its 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is good for 18.5PS and 13.9Nm, linked to a 6-speed transmission with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The newly launched MotoGP Edition is a nice addition to the bike’s standard colour options as well as the ‘Customise Your Warrior’ custom colour range. The MotoGP Edition really brings out the motorcycle’s race-inspired genes. Bookings are open at Yamaha’s official website for a token amount of Rs 2,000, and we expect the deliveries to commence soon.
