BREAKING: You Can Now Buy Used Royal Enfield Bikes Officially

Modified On Dec 5, 2023 02:23 PM By Govind

You can now buy second hand Royal Enfield bikes officially

Royal Enfield has made it easier for customers to officially buy and sell second-hand Royal Enfield bikes through their new program, called ‘Reown’. The news comes in after a few months of it being trademarked.

The idea behind this initiative is to provide customers with easy access to ownership by facilitating sale and purchase of used Royal Enfield bikes with fair pricing, easier documentation process and complete assurance by the brand.

Name transfer for preowned purchases will be facilitated by Royal Enfield dealers. But customers who are planning on buying using finance facilities like EMI will have to pay for the paperwork.

Prices of models are fixed and determined based on data such as the model’s current market price, demand and supply of the bike, service record, refurbishment work done etc. Customers who purchase a pre-owned bike also have the option of returning it within 7 days if they are not satisfied with their purchase. The Reown service can be availed via the Royal Enfield website or by visiting Royal Enfield dealerships in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai.

The pre-owned bike market is one that puts off many customers due to several scamsters and owners over-quoting prices of their bikes. So now with Renown, Royal Enfield promises 200+ technical and mechanical checks on used bikes so customers can buy them without having to worry. There’s also an exchange offer for new customers which allows them to trade their old bikes from other manufacturers for a new Royal Enfield bike. This will also make it easier for the brand to tap into a larger set of customers.

Reown will also help old customers upgrade to more premium models by selling their old Royal Enfield motorcycle. There’s also the loyalty benefits offered to customers selling through the Reown program such as Rs 5000 worth of Genuine Motorcycle Accessories which can be availed on the next Royal Enfield bike purchase.

Royal Enfield has partnered up with HDFC and IDFC enabling attractive finance options for customers. Doorstep motorcycle evaluation has been taken care of by a partnership with Adroit Auto and upgrades from other two wheeler brands are handled by Shriram group, a Chennai-based finance company. A partnership with used vehicle website OLX has also been reached to enable easy discovery and accessibility for certified pre-owned Royal Enfield bikes.
