BSA Electric Motorcycle Incoming
Will rival the upcoming Royal Enfield electric motorcycle
Mahindra & Mahindra, the parent company of Classic Legends, confirmed in a recent press conference that a BSA electric bike will be coming soon. It will likely not only be for the global market but for the Indian market as well. The Classic Legends-owned iconic motorcycle brand was revived last year, unveiling the BSA Gold Star 650 at the 2021 NEC Birmingham Motorcycle Show.
As of now, nothing has been revealed about the electric bike, but taking into consideration the brand’s identity, BSA’s e-bike will surely boast retro styling with round headlights, a teardrop-shaped ‘fuel tank’, and a single-piece seat.

However, we believe that the electric motorcycle could perform equivalent to a 200cc ICE (internal combustion engine) bike. It will rival the upcoming Royal Enfield electric motorcycle, which is still some time away from launch.
Summing up, the retro style electric bike is still far away from its production phase and will take more than a year to see the light of day. If you’re looking for an electric bike in India, you can check out the Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos and the upcoming performance-oriented Ultraviolette F77.
