CFMoto to expand dealer network across India over the next 12 months. It will also ramp up production to meet customer demand. The 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT can be booked for a token amount of Rs 5,000. The company has commenced deliveries of these bikes across India.

CFMoto, the China-based two-wheeler manufacturer that surprised everyone with its pricing strategy for India, has now revealed its expansion plans for the country. It intends to do so by targeting key Tier II markets along with metro cities.

CFMoto says it will launch 50 dealerships across India over the next 12 months. Besides this, the brand is working towards ramping up production to meet customer demand and ease deliveries of bikes. Speaking of which, the bike maker has opened its very first showroom in Thane, Mumbai. It will offer services like sales, spares and test rides for enthusiasts. This will be followed by another showroom in Bengaluru which will be inaugurated on  29 November.

The company's current portfolio comprises of four bikes - the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT - priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, Rs 3.99 lakh, Rs 4.99 lakh and Rs 5.49 lakh respectively. The bikes will be assembled in Bengaluru. Interestingly, the manufacturer has already raked over 700 bookings since its launch in India a couple of months ago. Deliveries for these bikes have commenced. Prospective customers can book their CFMoto bikes for a token amount of Rs 5,000 via the company’s website or any of CFMoto's upcoming dealerships.

There have been several developments from the company’s side in the past couple of months. To begin with, CFMoto says it’s working on an all-electric bike based on the 300NK which is likely to hit Indian shores. There were also spy images of the fully faired 250SR floating around the internet. For India though, we might see a 300cc variant based on the 300NK. CFMoto also took the wraps off the all-new CFMoto 700CL-X range which may come to India as well.

Clearly, the China-based two-wheeler manufacturer has huge plans for the future. Question is, is it enough to take on the likes of KTM, Kawasaki, BMW and TVS?
