"Today I can only apologize to the team and the fans because we were working very well and we had a very good pace all weekend,” said the current MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez. He went on add that “On the second lap when braking for Turn 12, I made a mistake and lost the front. It was my fault and I apologize.

An accident-crammed season continues for Marc Marquez as he met with another at Aragon which became his 5th time in 14 races. Marc takes full responsibility and accepts that it is his fault, "maybe because of the full fuel tank or incorrect temperature in tyres, but it's completely my mistake and I apologize to the team and the fans.” says Marc.

He further added that ”Maybe I pushed too much which was not necessary, it was a home Grand Prix. When a season is not going your way, nothing falls well on your side and this season we are finding things a bit tough.”

“Though I am happy for the team because this weekend we worked really good and have enough pace. With new tyres, Jorge was really fast and next time I will recover the distance step by step.”

With 14 races were gone and 4 to go, Valentino Rossi leads the championship standings at 263 points while Lorenzo and Marquez are at 249 points and 184 points respectively.
