Check Out This Custom Triumph Scrambler 400 X From K-Speed Called ‘Diabolus Scrambler’
This bike is the first custom build on the Scrambler 400 X we have seen and it looks really rugged
Thailand-based custom bike shop K-Speed has unveiled a new custom scrambler build, called ‘Diabolus Scrambler’, based on a Triumph Scrambler 400 X. As the name suggests, it looks quite rugged and is also the first custom build we have seen based on a single-cylinder Triumph bike.
K-Speed has made a lot of changes to the Scrambler 400 X, the first being the new LED headlight, a smaller one that is enclosed inside a rugged headlight grill combined with a motocross-style raised front fender. The bike’s instrument cluster has been relocated from the handlebar and placed under the fuel tank, a very interesting choice.
The engine crankcase has gone through a styling revamp and now comes with a black engine cover with a machine-finished design, similar to what we had seen on their modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 that was made to look like a Scrambler. The bike also features a raised rerouted custom exhaust similar to the ones found on dirt bikes, that goes through the engine’s side and into the tail section.
In the rear, they have cut out the bike's tail section and made it significantly shorter. Combined with a smaller seat, the new tail section makes the rear wheel stick out and adds to the overall rugged appeal of the bike.

The modifications seem limited to design, making the bike look more like a rugged scrambler, whereas the performance is likely to be unchanged. Customers interested in modifying their Triumph Scrambler 400 X can buy individual parts used in the build via K-Speed’s official website. Shipping is available to India and customers can get the parts shipped for free when using the standard shipping method available on K-Speed's website. However, they may attract import duties, so it's best to reach out to the custom house for more details.

The Triumph Scrambler 400 X is powered by the same 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that we have seen on the Triumph Speed 400. It produces 40PS and 37.5Nm. It comes at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2,62,996, and competes with the likes of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Royal Enfield Scram 411, and Yezdi Scrambler.
