Check Out This Iconic Yamaha RX-Z 6-Speed Restored To Its Glory
With custom brakes and snazzy graphics, this modified Yamaha RX135 exudes true 90s vibes!
There is something fascinating about the classic motorcycles, and this Yamaha RX-Z is not just any bike, but the rather rare Malaysian-spec six-speed screamer restored to its glory.
Mumbai-based Yogi Chhabria YC Design has beautifully restored this iconic Yamaha RX-Z painted in a bright custom yellow shade with snazzy graphics.
This rare ride is powered by a 135cc air-cooled heart producing a whopping 21PS – an insane amount of power for an engine that small. That’s the glory of the two-stroke era. To give you a perspective, even the sporty TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is slightly less powerful at 20.82PS! And the most interesting bit is that this particular model is a six-speed, which wasn't available in India.
While the rest of the bike is completely stock, it does come with a bigger custom 320mm front disc, which should result in better stopping power.
While the global production ended in 2011, YC Design is selling these six-speed RX-Z’s here at Rs 2.75 lakh. They’re imported, and you get clean papers for the bike. You can check out the custom house here.
