Check Out This Vespa Lookalike High-Speed E-Scooter
It offers a top speed of 110kmph and a claimed real world range of 100km
Trinity, a German electric mobility startup, has launched a new iteration of its electric scooter, the Uranus RS, in its home country. Here is what the high-speed electric scooter packs:
In terms of appearance, the Uranus RS adopts neo-retro styling with a circular LED headlight, round rear view mirrors, and a rounded body styling. The e-scooter flaunts a classy design which looks clean and presents a minimalistic appeal. The e-scooter resembles the Vespa scooter range with its neo-retro design.
Here is the more juicy part, the Uranus RS is powered by a 6kW brushless DC motor that produces peak power of 11kW. This power output helps the scooter achieve a top speed of 110kmph, making it a properly fast electric scooter. The motor is paired to two 72V/32Ah li-ion battery packs, which together offer a claimed real-world range of 100km. A single battery pack is capable of only 50km, which makes it not so impressive.

The Eco mode is appropriate for city riding with a top speed of 55kmph. Standard mode restricts the top speed to 80kmph, and Sport mode removes all power restrictions, offering a top speed of 110kmph.
The Uranus RS is suspended on a conventional telescopic fork up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by discs on both ends.
Flaunting a price tag of 5,799 Euros (around Rs 4.80 lakh), the Trinity Uranus RS is pretty expensive for an e-scooter. To give perspective, Ola S1 Pro electric scooter offers a top speed of 115kmph, with a superior range of 140km backed by a single battery pack and gets a bunch of features all at Rs 1.10 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The Uranus RS will not be heading to our shores anytime soon, but you can check out premium e-scooters available in India like the Simple One, Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube Electric and Ather 450X.
