Coming Soon! You Can Take The Concert Wherever You Go With A Group Of Ola S1 Pro EVs

A new “Concert Mode” feature is set to arrive with the MoveOS 4 update

Ever thought of having a concert with your scooter wherever you go? No? Of course, why would you, that’s not a general feature you expect in a two-wheeler, or would even need. But Ola is here to change that perspective of yours as it has teased the “Concert Mode” for the Ola S1 e-scooter set to be introduced with the upcoming  MoveOS 4 OTA update.

Tesla’s electric cars were recently seen performing a light show, grooving to the Oscars-winning “Naatu Naatu” song from the movie RRR, and Ola seems to have taken inspiration from it. The upcoming Concert Mode will allow multiple Ola users to sync their e-scooters and be a part of a makeshift concert with loud music and flashing lights wherever they go.

This could be an interesting feature to flaunt, and if Ola perfects the syncing of multiple e-scooters together then there would be nothing like it. However, this feature could very easily become a menace. How? Well, if the concert mode is being used in an empty space and the noise and lights are not a bother to other citizens, it would be fine. But, if the “performance” takes place in residential zones, public places or similar areas, it could easily become bothersome for the public in the vicinity.

Moreover, this isn’t a feature you’ll be using all that often. Instead of this, we’re really looking forward to the Adaptive Cruise Control feature that was teased by Ola recently.

With a fresh price cut of Rs 5000 in April 2023, the Ola S1 Pro e-scooter now costs Rs 1,24,999, ex-showroom Bengaluru. Ola recently also released a statement regarding the front fork failure of the S1 e-scooter, check it out here.
