Delivery Estimator For Jawa, Jawa Forty Two Introduced

Modified On Aug 7, 2019 12:02 PM By Gaurav Sadanand for Jawa 350

Customers can now check their bike’s delivery status on Jawa’s official website

The ‘Delivery Estimator’ provides customers with the latest information on their bike’s delivery status. The app is available customers who’ve booked the bike on or before 25th December 2018. For bookings post this date, the function will be made available shortly.

We get it, most of you who’ve booked the Jawa or Jawa Forty Two are growing impatient with the extended waiting periods. The bikes were introduced into the market about eight months ago and only a lucky few customers have received their prized possession so far. A wait time of upto 10 months and constantly calling the dealership for information can be quite frustrating. So, to make it easier for customers to check the delivery of their bikes, Classic Legends has now introduced a nifty ‘Delivery Estimator’ on its official website. It eliminates the process of having to call dealerships in order to get an estimated timeframe for the delivery of your bike.

Essentially, this feature provides customers with the latest information on the bike’s delivery status. For now, the ‘Delivery Estimator’ is only applicable for customers who have booked the Jawa or Jawa Forty Two on or before 25th December 2018. Unfortunately, the application is currently unavailable for customers who made their bookings after 25th Dec 2018. Classic Legends says it’s working on the issue and will ensure that the function is made available pretty soon. The two things you’d need to access the application is your booking ID and your mobile number.

Having said that, we’d like to point out that the delivery estimator just offers an estimated timeframe for the delivery of your bike, and not an exact delivery date. Jawa says that it’s due to factors such as logistics, natural calamities, traffic situations and unforeseen production bottlenecks.

To refresh your memory, the standard Jawa and Jawa Forty-two are priced at Rs 1.64 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. The dual-channel ABS variants, on the other hand, retail at Rs 1.72 lakh and Rs 1.63 lakh respectively.
