Ducati Diavel to be launched by April 2011

Ducati Diavel will be launched in Indian market by the month of April, 2011. Ducati India which is a subsidiary of Italy based racing bike maker Ducati Motorcycle has recently announced this in a event in Ahmadabad.

Commuting on the opening its third dealership in the state , Ducati CEO, Asia Pacific, Mirko Bordiga said that company is going to launch two new superbikes in India namely Ducati 848 Evo and Ducati 1198SP by the month of January next year.

The new models of the company will be available in European and American market after that these model would be launched in India by April, 2011. he added.

The upcoming Ducati Diavel will be loaded with 1200cc engine and will available in two variants like base and Carbon S variants. Before the launch of this bike, the company is planning to open dealerships along with service stations in 10 major cities of India.

Ducati India has targeted to sell over 300 bikes in India by the next year. The company has sold out over 100 unites of the Ducati bike in India since its stay. It is to sell 40 to 60 units in Gujrat, said Mr. Ashish Chordia, CEO of Ducati India operation.
