The bike gets the iconic yellow paint scheme and the classic ‘Ducati’ logo

Ducati India has started updating its portfolio for 2022, and it has launched the new Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro. With this, the Italian manufacturer pays homage to the original 1970s Scrambler on its 50th anniversary.

The new Ducati Scrambler has started arriving at dealerships and is priced at Rs 12.89 lakh.

Design-wise, the Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro is the same as the standard model; however, it flaunts the iconic yellow colour as the original bike and the 'Ducati' logo designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Adding to the classic look are the circular mirrors, tan brown ribbed seat, and the black 18/17-inch wire spoke rims.

Apart from the above-mentioned styling elements, the rest of the bike remains unchanged; it gets the same air-cooled desmodromic 1079cc L-twin engine producing 86PS and 88Nm. It is mated to a six-speed transmission with a slip and assist clutch.

The suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable Marzocchi 45mm USD fork up front and Kayaba monoshock at the rear with preload and rebound adjustability, the same as the standard model. Dropping the anchors on the bike are 320mm discs at the front (with Brembo M4.32 callipers) and 245mm rear disc (with a single-pot calliper).

The Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro has a seat height of 810mm and a 206kg kerb weight, making it accessible for riders of different sizes and statures.

The bike packs ride-by-wire tech, three riding modes (Active, Journey, and City), Bosch Cornering ABS, and traction control, making it a truly big-league motorcycle.

At a price tag of Rs 12.89 lakh, the Scrambler Tribute 1100 Pro doesn't have any direct rivals. That said, it has to fend off competition from the more affordable Triumph Street Scrambler (Rs 9.35 lakh) and the slightly bigger BMW R Nine T Scrambler (Rs 16.75 lakh).
