EeVe Atreo, Ahava Electric Scooters Launched In India

The scooters promise up to 100km range on a single charge

Ahava is priced at Rs 55,900 and the Atreo at Rs 64,900. The scooters come with a 5-year warranty and 1-year warranty for the battery. Both scooters feature smartphone connectivity.

Indian electric mobility startup, EeVe India, has launched two new scooters in the country, christened Ahava and Atreo, priced at Rs 55,000 and Rs 64,000 respectively.

The Ahava features a 250watt motor and promises a range of 60-70km on a single charge. The Atreo, on the other hand, has a claimed range of 90-100km on a single charge. Both the scooters feature telescopic forks and a disc brake at the front and a drum brake along with dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The scooters come with plenty of modern features such as DRLs, digital instrument console and Internet of Things (IoT), allowing riders to sync their phone with the scooter. The scooters also come with geo-tagging, geo-fencing and an immobiliser too.

EeVe India is offering a 5-year warranty on the scooters and a 1-year warranty on the battery. The brand has also partnered with numerous financial institutions to provide EMI schemes to buyers. The scooters go up against the likes of the Hero Electric Dash and Flash e-scooters.

Currently, EeVe India is present in 62 cities and it intends to have more than 200 dealers by the end of FY2020. The brand had showcased two new products, including the Tesoro electric bike, at Auto Expo 2020.
