Modified On Nov 7, 2019 11:51 AM By Alpesh Rajpurohit for Harley Davidson Pan America 1250

Harley’s first-ever ADV is expected to come to our shores in 2021

The Pan America is powered by an all-new 1250cc V-twin motor. Harley-Davidson claims that this motor produces more than 145PS of power. The Pan America is expected to go on sale in international markets next year.

Who would have thought that Harley-Davidson, known for making powerful cruisers, will step out of its comfort zone and go on to make an electric motorcycle and an adventure motorcycle? Now we have the insane (and expensive) LiveWire and the Pan America, which was showcased at the 2019 EICMA. By the looks of it, the Pan America looks production-ready and will launch go on sale in international markets by the end of next year. However, we expect Harley’s first ADV to come to our shores by early 2021.

Harley-Davidson had already revealed that the Pan America will be powered by the new Revolution Max 1250cc 60-degree V-twin liquid-cooled motor. Now though, the bike maker has announced the power figures of the ADV, which are nothing short of amazing. This 1250cc V-twin motor churns out more than 145PS of power and 122Nm of torque, making it the second most powerful bike in its segment after the Multistrada 1260 Enduro, which makes 158.25PS. To put things into perspective, the Triumph 1200 XCx belts out 141PS while the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure has a rated output of 136PS.

Harley-Davidson is yet to reveal more information about the Pan America, but we do know that it will get an inverted front fork, which could be an adjustable unit, and a monoshock at the rear. Moreover, the Bar & Shield company says that it has teamed up with Brembo for the braking hardware.

Aside from showing the new Pan America, Harley-Davidson also showcased its upcoming streetfighter, the Bronx, as well as its 2020 model lineup.
