Evolet To Open Upto 100 Dealerships Across India By March 2020

Evolet has laid out its expansion plans for the last quarter of 2020. In September, the electric bikemaker launched its electric product range consisting of three electric scooters and an electric ATV. It has now launched its seventh dealership in Panvel, Maharashtra. Evolet also has dealerships in Gurgaon, Muzaffarnagar, Sawantwadi, Mandsaur, Valsad and Zikrapur. Plans are on to open upto 100 dealerships across India by March 2020.
Of these, Evolet will open upto 20 more dealerships in India around the same time period. It will open dealerships in Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Satara, Kohlapur and Jalgaon. Other than Maharashtra, Evolet will launch dealerships in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and Rajasthan. Evolet is also looking to export its products to the Middle East and the Asia Pacific region. It will begin by setting up dealerships in Nepal and Bangladesh by March 2020.
Evolet has three manufacturing facilities situated in Haryana, Hyderabad and Chennai. While the Hyderabad and Chennai facilities are devoted to making electric buses, the manufacturing plant in Bilaspur, Haryana has a manufacturing capacity of upto 3.5 lakh two-wheelers per month. Evolet plans to reach sales of 150 units per month per dealership by the end of FY 2020.
The electric bikemaker currently sells the Polo, Pony and Derby electric scooters along with the Warrior electric ATV. During the launch of these products, Evolet had also showcased the Hawk faired electric motorcycle, Falcon naked electric motorcycle and Raptor electric maxi scooter. These electric two-wheelers are expected to launch by the first quarter of 2021.
