New spy shots of the upcoming 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N150 have surfaced on the internet, and the bike looks close to production. Up front, the test mules feature a new projector headlight. Previous spy shots have shown headlight design to be more in line with the original Bajaj Pulsar 150 but with a slightly modern twist. The fact that it’s next to an current-generation  Pulsar 150 also reinforces the possibility of the Chakan-based manufacturer using the latter for benchmarking. 

The most important revelation about the Pulsar N150 is that it will be available in two variants: one with disc brakes and one with drum brakes. Both iterations will get single-channel ABS though. The tyres seem to be slimmer ones (likely a 100-section unit just like the Pulsar 150 Neon) than the ones we’ve seen on the Pulsar N160, which, for reference, gets a 100-section unit up front and a 130-section one at the rear. Other bits like the semi-digital infinity display, bulb-type indicators, and LED taillight will likely be shared with the Pulsar N160. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming bike.

The Pulsar N150 will be powered by a new 150cc air-cooled engine derived from the Pulsar N160 and could make slightly more power and torque compared to the current 14PS and 13.25Nm motor in the Pulsar 150. Suspension duties will be handled by a telescopic fork and a monoshock.

The chassis and underpinnings too are expected to be carried over from the Pulsar N160 (at least for the dual disc version), helping Bajaj cut down significantly on developmental costs and thereby allowing competitive pricing. We hence expect Bajaj to price the Pulsar N150 around the Rs 1.10 lakh mark(ex-showroom). Looking at how production-ready the bike looks, it could be here sometime in Diwali. Once launched, it’ll go up against the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160, which was recently updated with several useful features; and also the Yamaha FZ and the Honda Unicorn.
