EXCLUSIVE: The Updated Pulsar 125 Has Reached Dealerships
Better looks, greener heart and more; it promises to be a more wholesome product than before
We at BikeDekho, have managed to shell out some exciting scoop for you once again! And this time, it’s about the updated Bajaj Pulsar 125. The baby Pulsar has reached dealerships and here’s your look at it in the flesh.
What stands out on the bike are the new alloys. They’re polarizing to say the least and some people would find them a bit out of place on the otherwise brawny design of the baby Pulsar.
This one is in the Black Solar Red paint scheme. At its heart is the same 124.4cc engine, albeit in an OBD 2-compliant form. Bajaj has switched to a fuel injection system in place of the electronic carburetor in order to comply with the same. It will therefore receive an updated ECU (Engine Control Unit). The updated bike will likely have output figures in the same ballpark as the 11.8PS and 10.8Nm that the current one has on tap.

The updated Pulsar’s console, while remaining the same semi-digital one, now has real-time mileage on display, along with two tripmeters, a Distance-to-empty readout as well as a warning light to monitor the bike’s emissions.
We expect Bajaj to officially launch the bike pretty soon. It’s then expected to make its way to dealerships all over India towards the end of the month. According to our sources the bike will cost Rs 96,202 (on-road Noida). For perspective, it currently retails from Rs 80,173 (ex-showroom Noida). The Bajaj Pulsar 125 goes up against the likes of the Honda SP 125, Honda Shine, TVS Raider, Hero Super Splendor, Bajaj Platina 100, and the Hero Glamour.
