Hero MotoCorp has given us a sneak peek of the upcoming Hero Mavrick, teasing the 440cc roadster through design sketches. These sketches reveal a few key highlights of the upcoming motorcycle.
At the front, the Mavrick sports an LED headlight which resembles the one on the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. The bike also gets a flat single-piece handlebar. Its rounded fuel tank, along with the tank extensions, provides a sporty and muscular look. There is also a ‘MAVRICK’ badging in the centre of the tank, just below the fuel cap.
The Hero Mavrick seems to get a spacious single-piece seat similar to that of the Harley-Davidson X440. The upcoming Hero roadster gets a single-piece grabrail, different from Harley’s split ones. The Mavrick's tail section is also slimmer, with a longer number plate holder.
The remaining features and underpinnings are unchanged, as mentioned in our previous article which you can read here.
The Hero Mavrick has the same 440cc engine as the Harley X440, which was developed as a result of the Hero-Harley collaboration. Launching on January 23, we expect the 440cc Hero roadster to be priced around the Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) mark.
