Hero Says ‘Alvida’ To Passion Pro
Thankfully, the feature-loaded Xtec trim stays on sale with two sub-variants
Hero MotoCorp has quietly removed the Passion Pro from its official website. But while the standard trim has been discontinued, the Passion Pro Xtec remains on sale.
The Hero Passion Pro was known for its stylish design, fuel efficiency, and affordable price. But to keep up with the tech-savvy generation, Hero MotoCorp introduced the Hero Passion Pro Xtec back in June 2022. You can read what the Xtec variant packs in our report here. It comes in two variants: Drum and Disc. The former is priced at Rs 80,038, whereas the latter retails at Rs 84,438 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
Apart from the differences in features and design, the core mechanicals of the bike are the same as the now-discontinued standard variant. We’ve ridden the Passion Pro, check out the real-world mileage and other details here. Besides, by discontinuing the standard trim, Hero may not lose out much as it has retained the more feature-packed Xtec variant. And as mentioned above, since Hero already offers both drum and disc sub-variants for the Passion Pro Xtec, prospective buyers can still make a choice, depending on their budget.
