So, to help you better understand the duo, here’s a closer look at them through some detailed pictures.
The
XPulse 200 is more off-road-biased while the
XPulse 200T is a road-biased version.
The biggest mechanical difference between the two is that the XPulse 200 gets long-travel suspension with 190mm and 170mm of travel at the front and rear respectively.
The monoshock at the rear offers 10 steps of preload adjustment.
The XPulse 200 features large 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels.
These spoked wheels come wrapped in dual-purpose Ceat Gripp tyres measuring in at 90/90 at the front and 120/80 at the rear.
Anchoring the bike are petal discs at the front and rear measuring in at 276mm and 220mm respectively. The motorcycle also comes with a single-channel ABS as standard.
Features like a raised front beak, an aluminium sump guard and a high-mounted exhaust supplement the XPulse 200’s off-roading capabilities.
The bike also gets knuckle guards to protect the levers and hands in case of a fall.
It comes with a windscreen right off the shelf for better wind deflection.
The rubber inserts on the serrated pilot footpegs of the XPulse 200 can be removed if you wish to go off the beaten path.
It gets a relatively tall seat height of 823mm.
On the other hand, the XPulse 200T gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in road-going MRF Tyres. They measure 100/80-section up front and 130/70-section at the rear.
The rear monoshock of the 200T offers 7 steps of preload adjustment.
The 200T uses conventional discs at both ends with the same dimensions as the XPulse 200. It comes with a standard single-channel ABS too.
The bike’s seat height stands at 799mm.
A tail rack comes as standard on both bikes.
Powering the XPulse duo is the same 199.6cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 18.4PS of power and 17.1Nm of torque.
The XPulse 200 is offered in both Fi and carb variants, while the 200T comes only in a carb variant.
Both bikes feature LED lights at the front and back.
Similarly, both the adventure tourers come with a Bluetooth-enabled all-digital instrument console. It displays readouts like the speed, engine RPM, gear position, fuel level, tripmeter, odometer and service due indicator.
