Hero XPulse 200T 4V Teased: Launch Imminent
We’re hoping it finally becomes a better highway touring machine
Over the course of the past few months, Hero’s updated XPulse 200T 4V has been spied, revealing changes we can expect on the ADV’s (Hero XPulse 200 4V) road-going sibling. The world’s largest two-wheeler maker has finally decided it’s time to officially tease the upcoming bike on its social media. With an official teaser out, we could expect a launch very soon, so here’s a quick recap of what we know so far about the upcoming XPulse 200T 4V.
From the first two leaked images we are certain of the following:
Design
While the overall look of the motorcycle remains unchanged, a few changes are clearly visible. The LED headlight gets a small flyscreen and the front fork is covered in gaiters. An attempt to give it a slight retro appeal. Also visible is a redesigned belly pan which covers the exhaust pipe, a new dual-tone seat, and a new pillion grab rail.
Engine
While there is no official badging of ‘4-valve’ technology on the motorcycle, it’s only logical for Hero to pass down the XPulse 200 4V’s heart on to this one as well. Well, at least the visibly larger oil-cooler in the spy shots and teaser suggests so. This could also mean the upcoming XPulse 200T 4V could feature a revised gear ratio as well.

Underpinnings
While the underpinnings appear to be almost unchanged, we can expect some minor tweaks to the suspension internals of the XPulse 200T 4V to make it an even friendlier road bike.
The Hero XPulse 200T currently retails at Rs 1.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With these new updates and 4-valve tech, we expect the asking price to go up by Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,000.
