Honda ADV150 Scooter Gets A JDM Special Edition
It has been introduced in Japan and is limited to only 1,000 units
Honda has unveiled a special edition of its rugged scooter, the ADV150, in Japan. Only 1,000 examples of this will ever go on sale and will remain exclusive to Japan.
Honda has draped the limited-edition ADV150 in a sparkly white bodywork accentuated with sporty grey and black graphics. There’s a shiny black panel under the seat, bearing the ‘ADV150’ badge finished in red and white. This cool paint job, coupled with the ADV150’s aggressive split-LED headlamp, short windscreen, blacked-out alloys, and a mean-looking taillight, makes the already handsome scooter seem more appealing.
2022 Honda Grom Unveiled, Gets Four New Colours Yamaha FZ-X Unofficial Bookings Open, Launch On June 18 New Colours For The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R, Launched In IndonesiaEverything else on the ADV150 has remained unchanged. It uses a 149cc single-cylinder motor that returns almost 55kmpl when ridden at 60kmph.
Standard features on the ADV150 include a digital LCD instrument cluster, full-LED illumination, switchable idling system, USB-equipped front storage, smart key, and single disc brakes at both ends. The scooter’s 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels are shod with block tyres.
The special edition ADV150 retails at 451,000 yen (about Rs 3 lakh), the same as the standard colour variants. Bookings will only be open from June 11 to August 31, 2021, making it an exclusive affair.
There’s little to no scope of the ADV150 reaching Indian shores, let alone the special edition. But, if we go by some documents, Honda could be bringing another ADV to our market.
