Honda Might Be Working On A CB350-based Scrambler
The upcoming bike could get wire-spoke wheels, long-travel suspension
There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the Honda H’ness CB350 recently, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll die out anytime soon, because the rumours just keep rolling in. First, we heard that Honda is going to roll out a cafe racer version of the H’ness, and now, there are reports saying that Honda is working on a scrambler variant of the CB350.
In theory, this shouldn’t be too hard - the cafe racer and the scrambler can both use the same basic engine and underpinnings as the standard bike. In the case of the Scrambler, Honda could kit it out with wire-spoke wheels, block-pattern tyres, long-travel suspension, and call it a day. But we’d love it if it went the extra mile and also threw in a high-mounted scrambler-style exhaust system seen in this render.
At the time of the H’ness’ launch, Honda did warn us that it has more surprises incoming, so additional variants or derivatives of the CB350 definitely seem to be on the cards. It seems like the first addition will be the cafe racer variant. Whether the scrambler will make it into production or not, only time will tell. But if Honda is reading this, DO IT!
