Honda Releases New Teaser Of Its Upcoming 350cc Motorcycle: What Could The Formidable Be?
The new bike could be the most affordable bike from the BigWing lineup
(UPDATE: Honda has launched the CB300F in India. More details in our launch story.)
BigWing, the premium product sub-brand of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, has put out another teaser of its upcoming motorcycle ahead of its August 8 launch. Interestingly, the Japanese bikemaker is launching the new bike just a day after the Royal Enfield Hunter 350’s global debut.
While Honda has not yet revealed what the product could be, going by the teasers, the ‘Formidable One’ could be its answer to the Hunter. Everything that the new teaser talks about hints at a lighter urban motorcycle. But doesn’t Honda already have the CB350RS for that?

Well, Honda is likely to go with sportier ergonomics, different suspension setup, 17-inch alloy wheels and road-focused tyres for its upcoming motorcycle. With the Hunter 350 and even the Bajaj-Triumph roadster on the horizon, it makes perfect sense for Honda to have a competitor in the space.
Interestingly, the teaser also mentions “Faster Acceleration”, which hints that the lighter components and the lower rolling resistance could contribute to improved performance.
Given that the Honda H’Ness CB350 is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh onwards and the CB350RS demands Rs 2.03 lakh, we reckon the upcoming motorcycle will be priced at a lower price point of around Rs 1.85 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi) to make it more appealing than its siblings.
