In 5 Images: Here’s Your CLEAREST Visuals Of The 2023 KTM 390 Duke

Modified On Apr 28, 2023 11:36 AM By Aamir Momin for KTM 390 Duke (2017-2023)

The naked Austrian looks more aggressive and production-ready

KTM India has been working on giving its range a complete overhaul and the next-gen of the beloved 390 Duke has been spied again. This time, the test mule was seen sans camouflage, giving us the clearest visuals of the bike yet, and it is sufficient to say we are all hot and bothered under the collar.

The Austrian naked has gotten wilder with an even more aggressive headlight with nacelle-integrated DRLs . The new fuel tank is more muscular and the elongated fuel extensions are sleeker. The extensions also feature air vents which should mean better cooling.

At the front, it also gets new rear-view mirrors which should offer better peripheral vision. Apart from that, it also gets adjustable levers.

At the rear, it gets a new and distinctive T-shaped LED tail light, different from any other KTM bike. The visual mass of the new 390 Duke has been enhanced, and it seems the 390 Duke hit the gym during the pandemic.

In the spy shots, you can clearly see the new redesigned trellis frame with aluminium bolt-on subframe. In addition to that, it also gets an aluminium gullwing swingarm with an offset monoshock. So expect a much different riding experience from the current model, thanks to the highly updated chassis and suspension. The front WP Apex USD will be adjustable. We can also spot the lighter wheels and revised braking hardware as seen on the new KTM RC 390. The new 390 Duke will also get cornering ABS as standard.

Expect the bike to debut in India sometime later this year at around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). It’ll then go up against the likes of the BMW G 310 R, Honda CB300R and the Bajaj Dominar 400
