Jawa’s Chassis Number 001 Sold For Rs 45 lakh!

Owners will also avail the ‘Service Package’, which is valid for 42 months.Jawa has auctioned off the first 13 units of the Jawa and the Forty Two before they begin their official deliveries, which will start from today. The event took place in Mumbai and was a part of Jawa’s #ForeverHeroes initiative. 13 motorcycles went under the hammer at the event and interested buyers were given a chance to bid for any chassis number from 1-100.
While chassis number 7 saw the lowest bid of Rs 5 lakh, chassis number 1 was sold for a whopping Rs 45 lakh. Yes, Rs 45 lakh for a Jawa! Rs 1.43 crore was collected from the auction and the entire amount will be used to educate children of martyrs of the Indian Armed Forces.

The winners of the auction are given a ‘Service Package’ that includes free service of their limited-edition Jawa motorcycles, valid for 42 months.
