Kawasaki New Bike Launch On September 25
It could be the W175 or the Z400
Kawasaki has sent us a ‘Block Your Date’ invite for September 25 for a new bike launch. But what could this upcoming bike from Team Green be?
Kawasaki’s entry-level retro roadster, the W175, has been spotted testing on Indian roads a couple of times in a near production-ready avatar. So the best speculation for a new bike launch is the W175. However, none of the dealers we got in touch with had any information on when or if this retro bike will debut in India.
That aside, the other speculation is the Kawasaki Z400 naked streetfighter. With the recent launch of the Ninja 400 in a BS6 avatar in India suggests the possibility of the twin-cylinder naked making it to our shores. In the recent past, the supersport and the naked have made a comeback with Euro-5 compliant engines in Europe.

The updated 2022 mill produces the same 45PS at 10,000rpm as its predecessor. However, peak torque is 1Nm lower – 37Nm – though it comes in at the same 8000rpm mark as its predecessor.
With the Z400, Kawasaki will finally be able to take the fight to the KTM 390 Duke. For quite some time now, Kawasaki hasn’t had any offering in the small streetfighter segment, and with the Z400, Team Green will also be able to take on the BMW G310R.
