This is the second price hike from Kawasaki in a span of three months

The snowball effect is quite visible when we talk about the price hikes of two-wheelers. After the first increment at the beginning of 2021, Kawasaki India has now announced another revision for the asking price of its popular models. Here’s a breakdown of the new price list:

This time as well, the minimum price hike is Rs 10,000 and it goes all the way up to Rs 25,000. No mechanical changes have been made to any of the bikes. The new prices will be effective from April, so if you are adamant on getting a Kwacker for yourself, we suggest you’d hurry up and book one before March ends.

Now let’s come to Kawasaki’s middleweight roadster, the Z650. In just a few more days, the bike will be Rs 24,000 more expensive than what it cost last year. Its upcoming rival, the Triumph Trident 660, will be launched in India on April 6 and is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). On the what-more-do-you-get list, the Trident 660 has an extra cylinder, certainly more power, better rider aids and super grippy Michelin Road 5 tyres.

So, if you are willing to gamble between the two, we suggest you wait for the Trident’s launch. Also, watch this space as we’ll bring your more and more updates on the most affordable Triumph as well as its review once we get our hands on it.
