The Z650, Vulcan S and the W800 get discounts for the first time. There are limited stocks left of each model, with the discounts available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The offer is valid until the end of the month.
We even got a chance to get astride a couple of these new Kawasaki beauties. The Z650 has evolved into a meaner and rorty mid-displacement naked with the BS6 updates. The ride is firmer and the experience is a lot more enjoyable. That said, we found its full-faired sibling, the Ninja 650, to be a much better value-for-money proposition and a more versatile motorcycle. And given the Ninja’s price was just Rs 30,000 more, the supersport made for a better purchase. With the new discount, though, the premium goes up to Rs 60,000 between the two bikes, improving the Z650’s proposition.
As for the retro W800, the retro British twin from Japan has a lot of redeeming qualities. Sure, it isn’t as accessible as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 or even as premium as the Triumph Street Twin but where the Kawasaki shines is in providing a true-blooded old-school riding experience like no other.
