KTM RC 125 vs Sinnis GPX 125: Photo Comparison

Modified On Jan 11, 2022 08:59 AM By Team Bikedekho for KTM RC 125

Let's find out how the newly arrived 125cc faired European bike stands against its Austrian rival

Sinis, a UK-based motorcycle company, has just launched the GPX 125 which is a primary rival to the KTM RC 125. So, to know how both these 125cc sport bikes fare against each other, here we bring you a detailed image comparison.

Starting with the fascia, while the Sinis GPX 125 looks very aggressive, KTM on the other hand has managed to tame down the aggression on the new RC125 over its predecessor. The GPX 125 gets side pod LED headlights with twin DRLs while the RC125 mounts a new LED headlight unit, eliminating the twin projectors on the earlier model.

Both motorcycles get sharp and edgy body panels, an upswept exhaust, a lean tail section and a split-type seat. However, there's a difference in the fuel tank capacity, the GPX 125 gets a 12-litre tank while the RC125 benefits from a larger 13.7-litre unit.

On the features front, the Sinis GPX 125 gets an LCD instrument cluster while the KTM RC125 Bluetooth-enabled TFT display can be paired with a smartphone via the KTM My Ride app.

The Sinis GPX 125 draws power from a 124.2cc liquid-cooled engine that churns out 12.9PS and 10.67Nm. Meanwhile, the KTM RC125 is powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 15PS and 12Nm, which is an additional 2.1PS and 1.33Nm more than the GPX 125.

The suspension setup is identical on both the bikes as they mount a USD fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the GPX 125 employs a 276/220mm disc brake setup assisted by a combi-braking system while the RC125 uses a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear assisted by dual-channel ABS. Talking about the seat height, the GPX 125 will be more comfortable for shorter riders considering it's just at 816mm compared to the RC 125’s 824mm.

The KTM RC125 is priced at Euro 6,049 (around Rs 5.08 lakh) while the Sinis GPX 125 retails at Euro 3,299 (excluding taxes) which is around Rs 2.77 lakh. The Sinis GPX 125 is as of now available in Europe, and its chances of arriving in India are pretty bleak.
