KTM RC 390 GP vs Standard Variant: Photo Comparison
Here’s how the two RC 390 variants differ from each other
KTM India recently launched the GP edition of the RC 390 and RC 200. This new variant of the popular supersport packs styling cues inspired from the Austrian manufacturer’s MotoGP bike. Here’s how the RC 390 GP varies from the standard edition.
The GP edition uses the existing Electronic Orange as the base paint, while it gets special decals on the fairing and the front fender. These graphics look more like an evolution of the standard graphics seen on the Electronic Orange variant. In addition to this shade, the standard variant also gets the KTM Factory Racing Blue shade.
The RC 390 GP edition also gets a smoked windscreen, which complements the sporty aesthetics of the bike really well. We think that the design of the bike is taken up a notch just through this element, when compared to the clear visor with an embossed pattern that presents a rather simplified look.
Apart from these visual changes, everything else remains the same between the two variants of the RC 390, which also includes the ex-showroom price tag which is Rs 3,16,070 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The RC 390 GP continues to get full-LED lighting, TFT instrument console with Bluetooth, traction control, cornering ABS and a quickshifter. It is powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 43.5PS and 37Nm.
Bookings for the new RC 390 GP edition have commenced across the country, while deliveries should start soon. This bike rivals the Kawasaki Ninja 400, TVS Apache RR 310 and BMW G 310 RR.
