Looking To Buy A Second Hand Royal Enfield Bike? Read This!

'Reown' name trademark suggests the brand could soon officially sell used RE bikes

Royal Enfield recently secured the 'Reown' trademark, indicating a potential move into the pre-owned motorcycle sector. And it only makes sense, given the high resale value that used Royal Enfield bikes are known for. Notably, the wordplay in "Reown'' cleverly incorporates the initials 'R' and 'E' for Royal Enfield, while the chosen font resembles the readings on an analogue odometer.

Under the Reown brand, individuals seeking second-hand motorcycles will not only have a secure option, but will more significantly also have the assurance of Royal Enfield's endorsement. This is especially crucial in the second-hand market, where concerns about unethical sellers abound. An added advantage for the bikemaker is that this will facilitate entry of an even larger crowd into the Royal Enfield community, that too at a more affordable price point.

It's worth noting that Royal Enfield had previously introduced a 'Vintage Store' in Chennai, catering specifically to the vintage motorcycle niche. In contrast, this upcoming initiative focuses on the sale of modern second-hand Royal Enfield motorcycles to buyers.

While Royal Enfield is not alone in this endeavor – Triumph and Ducati also offer pre-owned motorcycles – it's important to highlight that these brands primarily target the premium segment. Royal Enfield, on the other hand, caters towards the relatively more affordable market.
