Man Buys Dream Bike TVS Apache RTR 160 4V By Paying Rs 50,000 In Coins
As they say, “make every penny count”
From an early age we are taught that dreams will remain as dreams if we do not act. And no matter the size of the dream, ticking one off the bucket list is a very special feeling. Imagine this Assamese man’s delight when he signed the final purchase form for his dream machine - the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. But what’s so special about that? Well, what if we told you that he made a downpayment of Rs 50,000, all of which in coins!
Mr Roy (owner of the new Apache RTR 160) recently visited a local TVS showroom to purchase the motorcycle on finance. Despite putting down a deposit of Rs 50,000 in coins, the staff was cordial and took the hard labour of counting the bags of coins in their stride.
Is Mr Roy the first man to do something like this? No! Allegedly, a man from Tamil Nadu recently did something similar but with a much larger sum of Rs 2.6 lakh in coins while purchasing a Bajaj Dominar 400. Apparently the showroom staff took roughly ten hours to count the money. Another man very recently paid Rs 50,000 in Rs 10 coins while purchasing a TVS Jupiter.

If either of these men ever say that they saved every penny for their dreams, we’d have no arguments against that claim, because they literally did it. But it makes us wonder, how big was the piggy bank?
